I am a Dutch bookhistorian and I am preparing know an article bout Louis Charles Royer. I like to compare Royer with Maurice Dekobra, both middle brow authors. Both are writing about the cosmopolitan world, an important theme between the two wars. But Royer is a more erotic author. I am curious if Royer also travelled over the world (Honolulu, Tahiti, Laos, USA) or was everything his imagination. It is so strange you can't find information of that part of his life on the internet. More than 20 titles of his books were translated in the sixties in the Dutch or Flemish language. I am preparing an article, but I need much more information(genealogy, children, his wife, where he lived) to finish my research. Perhaps you know other scholars and/or collectors who can help me. Thank you for your cooporation. All the best, Bert Sliggers
